Men Enjoy Floral Gifts Too
Many times when picking out a gift for a male friend or loved one, people will shy away from flowers. It is worth noting that many men enjoy floral gifts as much as a female. Flowers are available on our website that are suitable for gifting to a male. A darker color orchid is one available choice. Although the man you care about may be hesitant to admit that he would like flowers, don’t let that deter you from making him smile with a surprise arrangement. He may downplay his enjoyment to the boys, but will get a real kick out of the thoughtful present.

I don’t have trouble picking out flower arrangements if they are going to a woman. It gets a little more tricky if the recipient is a guy. Some shops make that easy to by offering arrangements that have ‘guy appeal’. I recieved a planter that was actually a small tool box. There were 3 different types of plants and no live flowers. I actually took it to work and it’s still sitting on my desk. You can find what you need if you just look around. Don’t be afraid to make suggestions to the florist, a good one will listen.

My husband is the gardener with the green thumb. Our yard is the talk of the neighborhood thanks to him. He knows all about flowers and shrubs. Me? Once I get past a rose, tulip and daisy I don’t know one from another. I wanted to surprise Jim on his birthday so I went to Brant Florist and they fixed up a mixture of plants and live flowers that was out of this world. Even I could appreciate its beauty. Jim was ecstatic, as I knew he would be.

I wanted to get something different for my boyfriend for his birthday. My Mom suggested a plant or flowers. I laughed because I thought she was joking but she assured me that she was not. I checked it out and Brant Florist told me they frequently do arrangements for men. I was pretty sure this would be a first so I ordered it. Don was really touched that I would send him flowers. It was the different I had been looking for.

Being a man, I can tell you honestly, that I enjoy receiving flowers and plants as well as the next person. They are visually pleasing and smell terrific as well. I don’t consider myself a pansy by any means. A Black Belt and flowers are compatible.

Maybe not all men like plants and flowers but I’m married to a pretty smart guy and he likes the fact that I send him flowers. Sometimes it’s for a special occasion, but sometimes I like to send him flowers, just because. Brant Florist always seems to know just the thing to send. I trust them implicitly.

All men probably don’t like flowers. Some men probably only like them if they are from someone they love. My man, looks forward to me sending him flowers. It brightens up both of our days.

I never thought that flowers and men were a good match. My husband commented one time that a co-worker of his had gotten flowers for his birthday from his wife. He said he thought that was pretty cool. I guess I don’t have to tell you, when my hubby’s birthday rolled around, I got him flowers too. They were the hit of the office.

I don’t know about all guys, but I do know that I enjoy flowers and plants as well. They just seem to liven up a room. Sometimes I buy them and give them to my wife, but I know I really bought them to enjoy myself.

I happen to be one of those guys that enjoys plants and flowers. Maybe it comes from all of the years I spent helping my Mom in the many flower beds she had around the yard. I had two sisters but they couldn’t be bothered getting their hands dirty. Mom’s gone now, but having plants and flowers around make her seem a little closer.
